Speed Enforcement– Taconic State Parkway

On August 20, 2015 between the hours of 9:00AM and 3:00PM, the State Police in Hawthorne conducted a Speed Enforcement Initiative focusing on the Taconic State Parkway. The State Police issued a total of 50 tickets, the majority for speeding.  This highway safety initiative perpetuates the mission of the State Police to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage caused by motor vehicle accidents through vehicle and traffic enforcement.
