On 08/19/15 the Orange County Child Abuse Unit. which is comprised of members from the New York State Police, Village of Goshen Police, City of Port Jervis Police and Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 26 year old Pine Bush man for the class D Felony of Assault in the second degree and for the class the A Misdemeanor of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
State Police arrested and charged ALDO HERNANDEZ, 26 years old (dob 11/17/88) of the Pine Bush, N.Y. following an investigation of a report to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline. The investigation was conducted in conjunction with the Orange County Department of Social Services – Child Protective Services. The investigation revealed that Mr. HERNANDEZ intentionally caused physical injury to a child less than seven years old. Mr. HERNANDEZ and the victim were known to each other.
Mr. HERNANDEZ was arraigned before the Honorable BRYAN M. KULAK, Town of Crawford Justice and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 secured bond. Judge KULAK ordered Mr. HERNANDEZ to reappear before the Town of Crawford Court on August 24, 2015 at 6:30PM. An Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
