Town of Wappingers Falls drug arrest

On August 17, 2015, members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) and members from the State Police Wappingers barracks conducted a narcotics investigation, which lead to a vehicle and traffic stop on Route 9D in the Town of Wappingers Falls. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert M. Udle, age 34, of Lake Grove, NY , and Michael L. Lopez, age 46, of Hopewell Junction, NY, and the seizure of more than 600 Oxycodone pills, anabolic steroids, marihuana, and more than $3,500.00 in U. S. currency.Both subjects were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3^rd degree (a Class B Felony), and arraigned before the Town of Wappingers Falls Court Judge Heather Kitchen. Both subjects were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $40,000 cash/ $80,000 bond (Lopez), $25,000 cash/ $50,000 bond (Robert Udle).
