Lewisboro, New York – On August 17, 2015, New York State Police from the Somers barracks charged 68-year-old Michael L. Hoye, of Lewisboro, New York, with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree, both Felonies.

Troopers were dispatched to the Lukoil Gas and Service Station in Lewisboro for a report of a property damage auto collision.  An investigation revealed that Hoye was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Hoye was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed that he was convicted of DWI within the last 10 years.  Hoye was also operating a vehicle despite having a revoked driver’s license due to the previous DWI conviction.

Hoye supplied police with a positive breath sample that revealed a blood alcohol content of .18%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication.  He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Lewisboro Court on
