Two Westchester County men charged with burglary

Cortlandt, New York – New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Cortlandt announce the arrest of 21-year-old Alexander Henderson of Peekskill, and Devon Sherman, age 19, of Mount Vernon, for Burglary 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.
On July 30, 2015, Troopers were dispatched to the Down Bicycle Shop to investigate a burglary. Following a detailed investigation, Police learned that Sherman and Henderson had entered the business and stole approximately $5,000 worth of bicycles, computer equipment and currency.
Sherman was arrested on August 18, 2015, and Henderson was arrested on August 17, 2015. They were arraigned before the Town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to Westchester County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
