Troopers resuscitate 26-year-old Wappinger woman with Naloxone

PRESS RELEASE

Wappinger, New York – New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 for an unresponsive female at a residence located on Diddell Road, in the Town of Wappinger. Upon arrival, the troopers discovered an unresponsive 26-year-old female.  An Investigation revealed the female had possibly overdosed on opiates. The Troopers administered one dose of Naloxone and within minutes, the female showed signs of responsiveness.

The female was transported to Vassar Brothers Hospital by Transcare Ambulance.
