Anna Mary McBride, 101, a lifelong resident of Amenia, NY, died on Friday, August 14, 2015 at her home in Amenia, NY. Ms. McBride was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Ward Manor in Red Hook, NY and Hudson River Psychiatric Center in Poughkeepsie, NY retiring in 1984. Ms. McBride was a volunteer at the Rose Thrift Shop in Amenia, NY and was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Amenia, NY.
Born on March 2, 1914 in Amenia, NY she was the daughter of Matthew and Catherine McBride. Ms. McBride is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Calling hours will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, 4 Lavelle Road, Amenia, NY.
