On August 12, 2015 State Police at Liberty arrested Colleen Kenyon, age 45 of Damascus, PA for making a false report to State Police.  On Sunday August 26, 2015 Kenyon contacted State Police and reported that she had been stopped in her vehicle by a New York State Trooper and sexually abused by that Trooper during the traffic stop.  An investigation that followed determined that Kenyon was not stopped as reported, and further had no interaction with the New York State Police, or any other police agency on that date.  This investigation involved witness interviews, the examination of video evidence and review of GPS data pulled from police vehicles.

Kenyon was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd Degree and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 2nd Degree, misdemeanors.  She was released on an appearance ticket ordering her to appear in the Town of Delaware Court on September 7, 2015.
