Middletown Troopers Arrest Home Health Aides for Stealing from Alzheimer’s Patient

The New York State Police at Middletown report the arrests of Home Health Aides Amirah Reynolds age 22 of Poughkeepsie, NY and Raven Snipe age 23 of Middletown, NY for charges relating to theft from an 88 year old Alzheimer’s patient.

Raven Snipe was arrested for two counts of Forgery 2nd (D-Felony) and four counts of petit larceny.  Amirah Reynolds was arrested for one count of petit larceny.
Raven Snipe and Amirah Reynolds were employed as Home Health Aides at a residence in the Town of Blooming Grove.  Between the dates of January 18, 2015 and February 20, 2015, both Snipe and Reynolds stole a total of $880 from the victim Alzheimer’s patient.  Home Health Aides deliver personal care and assist patients with their daily activities.

Raven Snipe was arraigned on the Forgery 2nd charges in the Town of Blooming Grove Court on August 6, 2015. Amirah Reynolds is scheduled to appear in the City of Poughkeepsie Court on August 14, 2015 at 9:00am.
