Town of Ulster Woman Arrested for Grand Larceny

PRESS RELEASE

On August 11, 2015 the New York State Police at Kingston arrested Pamela Gilbert, age 56, of Ulster, NY for one count of Grand Larceny 3rd degree, a Class D Felony, one count of Offering A False Instrument for Filing 1st  degree, a Class E Felony,  and one count of Falsifying Business Records 1st degree, a Class E Felony.

A New York State Police investigation, in conjunction with the New York State Department of Labor, found over the course of four years, Gilbert collected $7,147.75 in unemployment insurance benefits, of which she was not entitled.

Gilbert arraigned by Town of Ulster Justice Weiss and released on her own recognizance and ordered to reappear in the Town of Ulster Court at a later date.
