Brooklyn man charged with drug possession following traffic stop in Dover

Dover, New York – On August 10, 2015, New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested 19-year-old Isaac S. Nemetz, of Brooklyn, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, a Class C Felony and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Nemetz was operating on Old Route 22 for a cell phone violation.  Subsequent investigation revealed that he was in possession of marihuana and psilocybin mushrooms at the time of the stop.

Nemetz was arraigned before the Town of Dover Court and is scheduled to re-appear in Dover Court on September 21, 2015.
