Two men arrested following Lake Peekskill theft

Lake Peekskill, New York – On August 8, 2015 the New York State Police, SP Cortlandt Barracks, arrested 27-year-old Eric Miller of Putnam Valley, NY and 27-year-old Michael Federici of Yorktown, NY and charged them with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree, a Class E Felony.

On August 8, 2015, the State Police investigated a complaint regarding the theft of a laptop computer, iPad and some pocket tools from a motor vehicle in the Lake Peekskill area.

The investigation determined that the two defendants were responsible for the theft. The majority of the property was recovered from Miller’s residence in Lake Peekskill.

The defendants were arraigned before Town Justice Lewis DiCarlo in the Town of Putnam Valley Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $2500 cash bail or $5000 bond.  They are due to return to the Putnam Valley Court on September 10th.
