WRONG WAY driver’s BAC more than 3 times the legal limit

PRESS RELEASE

Hamburg, NY – On August 9, 2015 at approximately 12:38 a.m., State Police responded to the report of a wrong way driver traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-90 between Exits 57A and 57.  Troopers stop the vehicle and interview the driver who was identified as, Renee A. Wilson, 46 of Hamburg, NY.  Wilson was found to be intoxicated.  She was transported and processed at SP Buffalo, where her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.29%.  Wilson was charged with:

  • Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor
  • Reckless Driving, Unclassified Misdemeanor
  • Multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations

Wilson was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Hamburg Court on August 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
