Dutchess County Government Employees Support “Backpacks, Supplies and More!” School Supply Giveaway Event

Poughkeepsie, NY… Hundreds of school supply items were donated by Dutchess County Government employees in support of the “Backpacks, Supplies and More!” initiative, formerly known as “Christmas in August,” to help students pre-school through 12th grade head back to school with the supplies they need for a successful school year.

“Dutchess County Government is proud to support the Backpacks, Supplies and More! event which provides students with the necessary supplies to have a successful school year. I am grateful to our employees who continue to unselfishly give of their time and resources to help other members of our community,” said Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro.
