The New York State Police at Highland announce the arrest of Darren U. Parker, age 39, of Wallkill, NY for Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (felony) and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree (misdemeanor).
Parker, a part time police officer with the Shawangunk Police Department, is accused of going into the residence of a former girlfriend without her permission while an order of protection was in place.
Parker was arraigned in the Town of Gardiner Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1000.00 bail.
