NYSP Conduct Occupant Safety Checkpoint at FDR Park, Westchester County

On July 24, 2015 The New York State Police conducted a Buckle Up NY checkpoint on the exit ramp from the Taconic State Parkway at the FDR Park, T/Yorktown. During this detail 41 tickets were issued for child restraint violations, 6 tickets were issued for seatbelt violations, and 2 tickets were issued for other violations.
This occupant safety detail perpetuates the mission of the State Police to reduce deaths and injuries caused by motor vehicle accidents through vehicle and traffic enforcement.
