Troopers arrest Poughkeepsie man following disturbance

Hyde Park, New York – On July 13, 2015, the New York State Police in Rhinebeck arrested Aron Aquino, 48 years old, of Poughkeepsie, New York, for Menacing 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
On July 13, 2015, Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that Aquino menaced an acquaintance with a knife and left the residence prior to Trooper’s arrival. He was located a short distance away from the residence and taken into custody without incident.
Aquino was charged with Menacing 2nd Degree and arraigned in the Town of Hyde Park Court. He was remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $750 cash bail or $1000 secured bond and scheduled to re-appear in Hyde Park Court on July 23, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
