State Police Wurtsboro Arrest Spring Glen Woman for Drug Possession

PRESS RELEASE

Wednesday June 17th, 2015 Wurtsboro Troopers arrested a Spring Glen woman for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Drug Possession.

Wurtsboro Troopers responded to a Sullivan County 911 poll for a female slumped over the steering wheel of a car parked at the Stewarts Shop in Wurtsboro. Upon arrival to location Troopers found Ashley Pomeroy, of Spring Glen, in her vehicle parked at the Stewarts.  Upon investigation it was determined that Pomeroy was impaired by drug use and possessed drugs in her vehicle.  Troopers arrested Pomeroy and transported her to SP Wurtsboro where she was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Possession of Hypodermic Instrument, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.  Pomeroy is due to appear in Town of Mamakating Court at a later date.
