Millbrook – Patricia A Murphy , 86 of Millbrook , NY., died peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Sharon Health Care Center surrounded by loved ones. Patricia was born in New Rochelle,NY on April 3, 1929, daughter of Catherine A. and Carson J. Robison. She attended Mount Saint Mary Academy in Newburgh, NY and St. Elizabeth’s College in New York . Her years at “The Mount” and time spent on her family farm in Pleasant Valley riding her horse ” Lady Bing” were two of her fondest childhood memories. Pat married Dan Murphy on October 14 ,1950 and moved to Millbrook where they raised their family. Pat was an active member of St. Joseph’s Parish, a member of the women’s guild, parish counsel, and a Eucharistic minister. Pat was employed as a proofreader and subscriptions manager at the Taconic Press for 25 years .

Pat is survived by her children Kevin Murphy and wife Suzanne , Mary Murphy Campbell and partner Barbara Mika, James Murphy, Maureen Murphy Gregory and husband Michael , William Murphy and wife Kelly, Anne “Resa” Murphy and partner Dave Kruppenbacher., daughters in law Patricia Murphy Lynch and Susan Cassinelli, and sister in law Patricia Robison. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Meghan, Michael, Daniel, Matthew, Katie, Patrick, Casey, Conner and Ryan Murphy and her cousins, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Donald, Robert and Kenneth Robison, her beloved husband Daniel A. Murphy, sons Michael and Timothy Murphy and daughter Patty Ann, many lifelong friends especially her dearest Eileen Irwin. What a grand reunion it will be.

Pat’s family would like to thank all of the dedicated people who provided support and loving care to her at her home and at Sharon Health Care Center in her last years. Pats children would like to say a special thank you to their brothers in law Michael Gregory who did so much for her when she was still living at home and to Dave Kruppenbacher who provided constant companionship to her at Sharon Health Care.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 18 from 4-7 pm at  3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 19 at 10 am from St. Joseph’s Church, North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Millbrook. Memorial donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to St. Joseph’s Church, P.O. Box 439, Millbrook, NY 12545.
