Saugerties, NY man arrested for heroin

PRESS RELEASE

Woodbury, NY – On June 10, 2015 at approximately 11:25 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Stephen J. Pillis was found in possession of less than 2 grams of heroin, 1 suboxone* sublingual strip, and 1 hydrocodone* pill.  Pillis was transported to SP Newburgh for processing and was charged with:

  • Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Class A Misdemeanor
Pillis was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Woodbury Court on July 7, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.

*Suboxone is used to treat opiate addiction, Schedule III Controlled Substance
*Hydrocodone is a pain medication, Schedule II Controlled Substance
