Meet SAM! He’s a 4 year old male Australian Cattle Dog, also called Red Heeler. He’s an active and very intelligent boy looking for a more experienced adult home without other pets. Sam loves the water, chasing sticks and playing ball. He’s a bit reserved at first, but warms up quickly (especially if you have a toy in hand!). Come and meet Sam at the Putnam Humane Society between 10-3 daily. Cat lovers can visit the kitties from 10-4:15 daily. The shelter is located at 68 Old Route 6 in Carmel, NY. (845) 225-7777.
