NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Amenia will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall, 4988 Route 22, Amenia, New York on June 4, 2015 at
7:00 o’clock p.m., on Proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2015, entitled “A Local Law
Establishing Regulations for the Control and Licensing of Junkyards”;

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that copies of the aforesaid proposed local law will be available for examination at the Town of Amenia Town Hall, 4988 Route 22, Amenia, New York, during normal business hours on all business days between the date of this notice and the date of the public hearing;

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that all persons interested and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard on said proposal at the time and place aforesaid.

Proposed Local Law “Junkyard Law”

The proposed Local Law #1 of 2015 entitled “A Local Law Establishing Regulations for the Control and Licensing of Junkyards” is available for download and viewing via this website. The public hearing will be on June 4th at 7pm at Town Hall.

Baseball Season Information

Pitching & Catching Clinics will be held @ Amenia Town hall on Mondays and Fridays with Jonh Lamb conducting the clinics. NO FEES. Clinics are open to all youths; local and surrounding areas. All to bring sneakers,gloves,and water bottle.

MONDAYS: Students in grades 7-12 ONLY

Feb.23 to April 13 from 4:30-8pm

FRIDAYS: Students in grades 4-6 ONLY

Feb.27 to April 17 from 5pm-7pm

Amenia Baseball,Softball sign ups will be held @ the Amenia town hall on March 7 and March 14 from 10am-12pm………Fee: $25.for Amenia residents, $40.for non-residents.

OPENING DAY is April 25,2015 and PHOTO DAY is May 23,2015 and Closing Day will be June20,2015.
