3 Highland area youths arrested for burglarizing a Town of Plattekill residence.

05/26/11 – The New York State Police – Highland BCI announce three arrestsrelated to a recent residential burglary of a home in the Town of Plattekill, NY.  The subjects arrested and charged with Burglary in the Second Degree (a class C felony) were 17 year old Terell Witherspoon, of Clintondale, NY, 17 year old Albertino Nogueira, of Highland, NY and a 15 year old male juvenile, also of Highland, NY.

On 05/18/15, SP Highland was called to investigate a residential burglarywherein it was later revealed that Witherspoon, Nogueira and a male juvenileacted together when they unlawfully entered the residence, via a unlockedwindow, and proceeded to remove personal effects and currency belonging tothe homeowner.

Witherspoon was arrested and arraigned before Judge Murphy in the Town ofPlattekill Court on 05/21/15 and remanded to Ulster County Jail on $50,000cash / $100,000 bond. Nogueira was arraigned on 05/26/15 before JudgeMurphy and no bail was affixed due to Nogueira’s current incarceration on bailin relation to a separate unrelated arrest. The 15 year old juvenile defendantwas issued a Family Court appearance ticket for Juvenile Delinquency and wasset to appear before the Ulster County Probation Department.
