Pleasant Valley woman arrested following domestic incident

Pleasant Valley, New York – On May 24, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Justina M. Dekoskie, 25 years old, of Pleasant Valley, New York, for Assault 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony.Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a domestic incident that occurred on Main Street in the Town of Pleasant Valley. Subsequent to an investigation conducted by the responding Troopers, it was discovered that Dekoskie assaulted the victim with a knife causing non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to Vassar Brothers Hospital where he was treated and released.The State Police were assisted by the Town of Pleasant Valley Rescue Squad.
Dekoskie was arraigned before the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Dekoskie is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on May 29, 2015 at
5:00 p.m.
