State Police Liberty Traffic Stop Leads to DWI Arrest and Drug Charges

On Wednesday May 13th, 2015 Liberty Troopers arrested a Liberty man and a Youngsville man for drug charges and Driving While ability Impaired by Drugs charges.

Liberty Troopers conducted a traffic stop on ST-17 in the Town of Thompson on Wednesday night.  Upon interview of the driver Jeremie Whitted, of Youngsville, it was discovered that there was Marihuana and pills in the vehicle.  After investigation it was also determined that the passenger Michael Gilleo, of Liberty, was in possession of pills not belonging to him.  Both where arrested and transported to SP Liberty. Whitted was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. Gilleo was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Controlled Substance in Non Original Container.  Both men are due to reappear in Town of Thompson Court at a later date
