Garrison woman arrested following crash investigation

Garrison, New York – On May 5, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Ida Sabani, 60 years old, of Garrison, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on May 5, 2015, Troopers were dispatched to a collision that occurred on Sprout Brook Road. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Sabani, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
Sabani submitted to a breath test that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .23%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. She was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the Town of Philipstown Court on May 14, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
