COMPTROLLER GREGG PULVER RELEASES SALES TAX UPDATE FOR 2023

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – The Office of the Dutchess County Comptroller has released a Special Report regarding sales tax revenue in Dutchess County in 2023. The County received $253,598,560 in sales tax revenue in 2023, a decrease of $815,541 from the previous year. Despite this decrease, the County continues to earn more in actual revenues than the adopted budgeted amount. Actual revenues for 2023 were 1.2% or $3.1 million higher than the adopted budget.
