The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force reports executing search warrants this week resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of narcotics in the City of Poughkeepsie.

The Drug Task Force continues to conduct ongoing investigations into the sale of dangerous narcotics including fentanyl being sold in Dutchess County. The following search warrants and arrests were made by the Drug Task Force:

On 02/20/24 Agents of the District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force executed a search warrant with the Dutchess County Emergency Services Unit at 559 Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie after receiving complaints of narcotics sales being conducting in that area. Jeremeal Robinson, age 32, was taken into custody at the time of the search warrant being executed and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony. Mr. Robinson was later arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and released to the supervision of Dutchess County Probation.

On 02/21/24 Agents of the District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force executed a search warrant with the Dutchess County Emergency Services Unit and the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department NRU at 48 Harrison Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. Joseph Anderson, age 20, was taken into custody at the time of the search warrant and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree with the Intent to Sell and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) in the Third Degree, both Class B Felonies. Mr. Anderson was previously arrested by Drug Task Force Agents in January on similar charges and those charges are currently pending. Mr. Anderson is being held at the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department pending his arraignment later today.
