Marie J. Mazzola, 86, of Wassaic, NY, formerly of Pleasant Valley, NY, and Florida passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at The Grand in Pawling, NY.
Born on October 6, 1937 in Mount Kisco, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Loughran) Nemeth. Mrs. Mazzola was a graduate of Mount Kisco High School where she made lifelong friends who remained in contact after 75 years. On April 12, 1957, in Mount Kisco she married John J. Mazzola who predeceased her on June 16, 2008.
Mrs. Mazzola is survived by he loving daughter, Eve D’Aleo, and her husband, Christopher, of Amenia, NY, and two grandchildren, Douglas D’Aleo of Sharon, CT and Nicole D’Aleo and her fiancé, Andrew Chen, of Holliston, MA. She is also survived by a nephew, Tim Hackert. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Mazzola was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Halaas and a nephew, Brian Hackert.
