1. Today is an “A” Day.

2. Attention all high school students – We have a change in elections this year for Student Council! There will no longer be a class vote – there will now be an interview process. Please see Ms. Krieger if you are interested in running. Packets are available in Ms. Krieger’s room and must be completed by May 13th.

3. The deadline to register for the June SAT and ACT tests today. If you have any questions, please see the guidance office.

4. PTSA Family Fun Night: 10 students are needed to help the PTSA at Wingdale Elementary for Family Fun Night from 5:30-8:30 pm on Friday, May 8th. Sign up outside Mrs. Cleaveland’s room.

5. Dover Stone Church Preserve/NY-NJ Trail Conference: Various events including creating hiking new trails, maintaining trails and informational sessions. This includes multiple dates from May through June. Stop by the community service office for more information.

6. Prom is around the corner!! If you need a prom dress come see Ms. Mangar!

7. Come see the Talent Show tonight at 6 pm. There will be singing, dancing, and a few surprises! Admission is $7, students and seniors $5. All proceeds will be donated to the Dutchess County ASPCA.

8. There will be a Senior Honor Society meeting on Monday, May 11th during first lunch in room 1043.

9. The Bonnie Box collection ends today. Thank you to all who have already donated!

10. There will be a high school Student Council meeting on Tuesday, May 12th after school in Ms. Krieger’s room. Please attend.

11. Shrek rehearsal today will be from 2-3:30 pm. All cast members in Act Two should attend. We will be running through the entire act from start to finish. Let’s get the show moving!

12. There will be a Scrub Club meeting on Wednesday, May 20th. Make plans to be there!

13. Dutchess BOCES CTI will be holding its Summer Enrichment program the week of July 13th through July 17th. The program is available to all students who will be entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. Please see you middle school guidance counselor for an application. Applications are due Friday, May 15th.

14. SAT Word of the Day: PALPABLE – meaning capable of being touched or felt

15. With the warm weather approaching, please be sure to adhere to the dress code that is stated in the code of conduct.

16. Please remember that there are several scholarships that are due next week: Mary Anttila and Jim Harding Dover Little League Scholarships are due May 12th. Mid-Hudson Kennel Association Scholarship is due May 15th. Mitchell Colucci Scholarship for the Fine Arts is due May 20th. Stop by the guidance office or get the applications from Naviance!
