Darwin L. Richard, 84, a longtime resident of Wingdale, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 in Kent, CT. Born on November 18, 1939 in Constable, NY, he was the son of the late Leonard P. and Emma (Miner) Richard. Mr. Richard was a therapy aide at the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale and later the Hudson River Psychiatric Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Mr. Richard is survived by a brother, Donald Richard of Wingdale, NY and a sister, Helen LaClair of Lake Luzerne, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Richard was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Ann Richard and a sister-in-law, Betty Dufrane.
