Fishkill, New York – On November 14, 2023, the New York State Police responded to the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge for a report of a person jumping off the bridge.

The victim, Stacy M. Shanahan, age 49, of Beekman, NY, was located deceased below the bridge.  No signs of foul play discovered at this time.

The Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office was on the scene aiding in the investigation.
