Hopewell Junction, NY-Families looking for a fun, free way to remember the reason for the season need only pay a visit to the drive-thru “Living Nativity” display at Hopewell Reformed Church (HRC).  The church will be hosting a “Living Nativity” from 4:30-7PM December 9th and 10th at 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction.

Live actors and animals, and narration will bring the nativity story to life in scenes re-enacting the first Christmas.  The church’s choir and the hand bell choir will perform hymns and carols to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

“A drive thru on church grounds will give families the chance to experience the joy of Christmas”, said HRC Lead Pastor Doug Leonard.  “It’s important for families to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the season, spend quality time together and experience the joy of Christmas.”

Since its inception in 2020 over a thousand people have visited the Living Nativity. 100% of the donations from this event goes to provide gifts for local children and families in need. Last year gifts were provided to more than 60 children through the generous donations of our community.

We look forward to sharing the Christmas story with the entire community.
