Three Incarcerated Individuals Charged in Separate Incidents
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of the below individuals in connection with separate incidents at the Dutchess County Jail. All three were incarcerated at the jail at the time of the incidents and arrests, and remain there at the time of this writing.
Jason Wands, age 39 of Hyde Park, was arrested on 11/8/23 and is accused of violating an Order of Protection by contacting a protected party via phone calls. Mr. Wands has been charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree (misd) and was arraigned before the City of Poughkeepsie Court with a return date of 12/14/23.
Saed Ramadan, age 45 of Wappingers Falls, was arrested on 11/8/23 and is accused of violating an Order of Protection by contacting a protected party via phone calls. Mr. Ramadan has been charged with aggravated family offense (felony) and criminal contempt 2nd degree (misd), and was arraigned before the City of Poughkeepsie Court with a return date of 12/12/23.
Jamel Williams, age 31 of East Fishkill, was arrested on 11/14/23 and is accused of physically attacking another incarcerated individual and causing injuries. Mr. Williams has been charged with assault in the 2nd degree (felony) and is due to appear before the City of Poughkeepsie Court for arraignment on 11/28/23.
As with any criminal case the charges described above are merely accusations and all three defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
