John P. White III, 56, life-long resident of Pawling, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, November 13, 2023.
JP to his family and friends, he was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on March 29, 1967, and was the son of John P. White II and Marilyn (Cunningham) White of Florida, formerly of Pawling, NY. He married Jeanine Scores on Whaley Lake in Holmes on June 8, 2002; she survives at home.
JP had been an electrical engineer for Elite Electric in Pawling.
He loved fishing and boating and hockey, especially the Rangers. But he especially loved spending time watching his granddaughters.
He also loved the beach and the ocean and going to his 2nd home in Jensen Beach, FL.
In addition to his wife and parents, JP is survived by his two sons John P. White IV, of Pawling and Alex Antoniuk and his partner Erinn Kianey, also of Pawling; a daughter Krystal Antoniuk-Hatzmann and husband David Hatzmann of Patterson, NY; a sister, Pam Lucas and husband Chris of Massachusetts; his three granddaughters, Mila Rose “Punk” Hatzmann & Marley Ann “Blue Eyes” Hatzmann of Patterson and Caelie Sproule of New Milford, CT; many, many aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law; and lots of good friends.
Family and friends may pay their respects to JP on Thursday, November 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling at 11 AM. Burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
