Morgan Hammell of Pleasant Vly is a New Paltz Hawk in the 2023-24 Women’s Basketball team
NEW PALTZ, NY (11/13/2023)– SUNY New Paltz student Morgan Hammell of Pleasant Vly, NY is on the SUNY New Paltz women’s basketball team for the Hawks’ 2023-24 season.
This season, the team will face similar SUNYAC competition such as Cortland, Geneseo and Brockport, while gearing up for one of their most competitive non-league schedule with the likes of Vassar, Ithaca, Middlebury and national runner-ups Christopher Newport on the schedule.
“I have really high hopes for this team as I am excited to see us finish what we started last year,” said senior guard/forward Brianna Fitzgerald ’24. “We are looking for another SUNYAC championship title as well as looking to make waves in the NCAA tournament.”
