LAND Gallery in Pawling, New York is celebrating the Holidays with new works by LAND Gallery nature inspired photographers and other local artists. There are photographs, paintings, cards, handcrafted woodworking, jewelry, holiday soap and pottery for your gift giving. New Photographs both framed and matted by Jane Haslam and her team of photographers: Julian Diamond, Justin Goodhart, Linda Hubbard, and Rebeca Tocci. There are landscape photographs of the seasons far and wide plus many local scenes. Other photographs capture the intricate details of flowers, birds or a setting sun.
Paintings by watercolor and mixed media artists Kelly Edwards and Sharon Nakazato capture beautiful landscapes and make wonderful gifts.
Handmade wood crafts by Ed Bryan include bowls, cutting boards, bottle openers, ice cream scoops, vases, pens, pendants, and more. He uses sustainably sourced local woods, from which he hand turns a variety of functional and decorative items.
Pottery by Ann Heywood includes vases, soap dishes, and mugs with weathered and imperfect surfaces, created with different clay bodies, glazes, and firing techniques.
Jewelry by Karen Ostrom combines seastones / seaglass / tree bark with sterling silver to create unique and interesting earrings and necklaces.
Holiday Soaps by Genevieve St Louis Jan are handmade with love and contain only wholesome natural ingredients that won’t dry out your skin and are a wonderful addition to anyone’s cleansing regime.
There are also cards of local scenes, birds and flowers and many holiday cards plus children’s books by local artists Carol Paterno and Doris Tomaselli.
LAND Gallery is owned by Jane Haslam and is located in the historic Dutcher House in the heart of the Village of Pawling, NY. The Gallery is open Thursday 10 – 4pm, Friday 10 – 7pm, Saturday 10am-3 pm and Sunday 11 – 2pm Or By Appointment.
