AS PROMISED AGAIN… Alleged Narcotics Dealer Apprehended While Completing Judicial Diversion

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the indictment and arrest of Stefon Graham, from the City of Beacon, age 33, and as a result of a 6 count indictment by a Dutchess County Grand Jury.

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports completing an investigation into Mr. Graham allegedly continuing to sell narcotics in Dutchess County after his arrest by the Drug Task Force in August of 2022. As the result of his original arrest Mr. Graham pled guilty to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree on 06/01/23 and entered a NYS Judicial Diversion program that very same day. The Judicial Diversion program is an alternative to the regular court process and allows some felony offenders to avoid jail or probation if an offender completes a court program.

Shortly after Mr. Graham entered into the Judicial Diversion Program he allegedly began unknowingly selling narcotics to the Dutchess County Drug Task Force. The case was presented to a Dutchess County Grand Jury resulting in a 6 count indictment charging him with sales of narcotics in Dutchess County. On 10/30/23 Mr. Graham was remanded without bail to the Dutchess County Jail. He faces up to 9 years in state prison on his plea to CPCS3, and up to 9 years in state prison on each sale of narcotics charged in the Indictment.

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force made a promise to Dutchess County residents that Drug Dealers will be aggressively targeted anywhere they decide to sell narcotics in Dutchess County in an effort to prevent overdose deaths. This indictment and arrest is just another example of a promised kept.
