Anthony Maranzano, Jr., 80, a longtime resident of Wassaic, NY passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mr. Maranzano was a custodian at Pawling Central School District. He also worked at Sharon Hospital and was the longtime manager of Berkshire Apartments in Wassaic.
Born on May 8, 1943, in Corona, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony Maranzano, Sr. and Anna (Mangano) Maranzano. On September 1, 1968, in Queens, NY he married Josephine Graganella who survives at home.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Maranzano is survived by two sons, Michael Maranzano and his wife, Nicole, of Dover Plains, and Keith Maranzano and his wife, Jennifer, of Torrington, CT, and two daughters, Toni Ann Peterson and her husband, Darren, of Wassaic, NY and Jena Maranzano and her companion, Kevin Gleason of Dover Plains. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Taylor, Hailey, Jomarie, Mitchell and Tyler, and one great-granddaughter, Brooke.
Besides her parents, Mr. Maranzano is predeceased by a brother, Roy Maranzano.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
