Dover High School Daily Announcements 5.7.15

1. Today is a “B” Day.

2. Attention all high school students – We have a change in elections this year for Student Council! There will no longer be a class vote – there will now be an interview process. Please see Ms. Krieger if you are interested in running. Packets are available in Ms. Krieger’s room and must be completed by May 13th.

3. The deadline to register for the June SAT and ACT tests is Friday, May 8th. If you have any questions, please see the guidance office.

4. PTSA Family Fun Night: 10 students are needed to help the PTSA at Wingdale Elementary for Family Fun Night from 5:30-8:30 pm on Friday, May 8th. Sign up outside Mrs. Cleaveland’s room.

5. Dover Stone Church Preserve/NY-NJ Trail Conference: Various events including creating hiking new trails, maintaining trails and informational sessions. This includes multiple dates from May through June. Stop by the community service office for more information.

6. Prom is around the corner!! If you need a prom dress come see Ms. Mangar!

7. Come see the Talent Show on Friday, May 8th at 6 pm. There will be singing, dancing, and a few surprises! Admission is $7, students and seniors $5. All proceeds will be donated to the Dutchess County ASPCA.

8. There will be a middle school Student Council meeting today in Mrs. Cleaveland’s room.

9. The Bonnie Box collection ends Friday. Thank you to all who have already donated!

10. There will be a high school Student Council meeting on Tuesday, May 12th after school in Ms. Krieger’s room. Please attend.

11. Shrek rehearsal today will be from 2-3:30 pm. All cast members in Act One should attend. We will be running through the entire act from start to finish. Let’s get the show moving!

12. Congratulations to the winners of the middle school Window Decorating Contest! 1st Place – Book Trailers Club, 2nd Place – Art Club and 3rd Place – Yearbook Club

13. Green Team will meet this afternoon in Mrs. Elliott’s room.
