Wanted Fugitive and Alleged Fentanyl Drug Dealer Apprehended by Drug Task Force

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of DANIEL CURTIS MIZZEL Jr., a 41 y/o Poughkeepsie resident after he was indicted by a Dutchess County Grand Jury in the summer of 2022 for Criminal Sale of a ControlledSubstance in 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree with intent to sell (Fentanyl andCrack Cocaine). Mr. Mizzel was a fugitive for almost one year before being apprehended by Drug Task Force Agents in the Town of Hyde Park. Mr. Mizzel is currently being held at the Dutchess County Jail.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force will continue to investigate and apprehend drug dealers who sell poison to vulnerable residents and visitors of Dutchess County. The Dutchess County Drug Task Force was assisted in this investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit.
