Roy T. Viebrock, 78, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Viebrock worked in the Maintenance and Facilities Department at Taconic DDSO in Wassaic, NY for 30 years retiring in 2001.
Born on October 11, 1944, in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Dietrick and Lisa (Weber) Viebrock. On October 24, 1987, in Bronxville, NY, he married Harriet Folberth who survives at home. Mr. Viebrock was a member of the Mid-Hudson Valley Deaf Club. He was also a member of the Poughkeepsie Bowling League and Valley Bible Fellowship Church in Lagrangeville, NY.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Viebrock is survived by a sister, Linda Montgomery of Sunset Beach, NC.
Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Valley Bible Fellowship Church, 1875 Clove Road, Lagrangeville, NY. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. (with ASL interpreter) at the Church.
