Dutchess County Drug Task Force Seizes Large Quantity of Cocaine and Cash

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of Gregory Jackson, 50 years old, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2

nd Degree, a class A-II Felony. Gregory Jackson is a Town of Poughkeepsie resident. As
with any criminal case, the charges described above is merely an accusation and all parties identified in this press
release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force has been actively investigating the sale of cocaine, which is often mixed with
Fentanyl, in the Town of Poughkeepsie as well as several other areas in Dutchess County. As a result of that
investigation, a search warrant was executed at Mr. Jackson’s residence on 06/09/23 by the Dutchess County Drug Task
Force and Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit. Approximately 6 ounces of cocaine and a
significant amount of cash was seized by Drug Task Force Agents at that residence.

Gregory Jackson was arraigned in the Town of Poughkeepsie court and remanded to DCJ without BAIL.
