SEARCH WARRANT LEADS TO SEIZURE OF COCAINE AND CASH IN THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of ANTHONY J. GONZALES, age 34 of the
Town of Wappinger for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3
rd Degree with Intent to Sell.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force conducted an investigation into cocaine sales in the Town of
Wappinger, Town of East Fishkill and surrounding areas. As a result of this investigation, a search
warrant was executed on 05/11/23 at a residence on Route 376 in the Town of Wappinger by the
Dutchess County Drug Task Force and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services
Unit. Anthony J. Gonzales was taken into custody and Task Force Agents seized a large quantity of
cocaine and U.S. Currency from his residence.

As with any criminal case the charge described above is merely an accusation and ANTHONY J.
GONZALES is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
