1. Today is an “A” Day.

2. Attention all high school students – We have a change in elections this year for Student Council! There will no longer be a class vote – there will now be an interview process. Please see Ms. Krieger if you are interested in running. Packets are available in Ms. Krieger’s room and must be completed by May 13th.

3. The deadline to register for the June SAT and ACT tests is Friday, May 8th. If you have any questions, please see the guidance office.

4. PTSA Family Fun Night: 10 students are needed to help the PTSA at Wingdale Elementary for Family Fun Night from 5:30-8:30 pm on Friday, May 8th. Sign up outside Mrs. Cleaveland’s room.

5. Dover Stone Church Preserve/NY-NJ Trail Conference: Various events including creating hiking new trails, maintaining trails and informational sessions. This includes multiple dates from May through June. Stop by the community service office for more information.

6. Prom is around the corner!! If you need a prom dress come see Ms. Mangar!

7. Attention all Junior Honor Society applicants: All applications are due to Mrs. Cleaveland today by 2 pm!

8. There will be a middle schools Student Council meeting on Thursday, May 7th in Mrs. Cleaveland’s room.

9. The Bonnie Box collection ends Friday. Thank you to all who have already donated!

10. There will be a “May” Madness Basketball Tournament Thursday, May 7th from 6:30-9:00 pm. Sign your team up outside the dining hall or come to cheer on your favorites! Admission is $3 for players, $5 for spectators. Middle school students are welcome to watch. All teams must be signed up by the end of today (Monday, May 4th) or the tournament will have to be cancelled.

11. Shrek rehearsal today will be from 2-3:30 pm. Only Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Farquaad, and Captain of the Guards need to stay after. Continue to check your rehearsal schedule and continue practicing all vocals and choreography at home. Time to pull this show together!!

12. Are you interested in becoming an EMT or Paramedic? There will be classes held this summer at Dutchess Community College. Please stop by the guidance office for more information.

13. There will be a Youth for Diversity meeting on Wednesday, May 6th during first lunch in the Honors room.

14. There will be a SADD meeting during first lunch on Tuesday, May 5th in Ms. Swift’s room.

15. SAT Word of the Day: CIRCUMSPECT – meaning cautious
