Cortlandt man arrested for burglarizing multiple homes

Cortlandt, New York – On December 12, 2022, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks in conjunction with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office arrested Harrold J. Mann Jr., age 42, of Cortlandt, for four counts of Burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

During the ongoing investigation of multiple burglaries stretching back to October in the Philipstown, Putnam Valley, and Cortlandt areas, Troopers responded to an address near Gallows Hill Road in Cortlandt, for a report of a burglary.  With the help of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and a State Police K9, the suspect, Harold Mann, was tracked down and arrested.  Further investigation revealed Mann was responsible for multiple burglaries in the area.

Mann was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash bail, $200,000 bond or $400,000 partially secure bond.
