Obituary, Timothy Andrew Myrden

Timothy Andrew Myrden, 63, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 25 years, passed away at his home Friday, December 9th surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Mahopac, NY on February 17, 1959, he was one of four children born to the late Otto and Patricia “Betty” (VanCoughnett) Myrden.  He attended Pawling schools and graduated from Pawling High School in 1977. On June 28, 2017, he married Melanie Casey, his wife and long-time partner of 33 years; she survives at home.

Tim was a self-employed Master Carpenter doing remodeling, refinishing, and woodworking; he loved doing projects of any type and would be considered a modern day McGyver.  He loved drag racing, gardening, hunting & fishing and spending time with family and friends, animals, and his pets.

In addition to his wife, Melanie, he is survived by his son Brandon Myrden and girlfriend Kylie Costello; his stepson Jason Stock, his girlfriend KC Furlano and their son (his grandson) JP; his two brothers, Brian Myrden, wife Gabriella, and nephew Brian Jr and David Myrden; and his sister Karen Tangredi, her husband John, niece Grace, and nephew Nicholas.
