PRESS RELEASE

On November 10, 2022, at about 9 a.m., State Troopers from SP Monroe responded to a motor vehicle crash on State Route 32 near Falls Lane in the town of Woodbury. The investigation determined that a 2014 Freightliner box truck and a 2012 Ford Econoline van crashed head on.

The driver of the box truck, Clive Booth, 48, of Goshen, NY, was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he later died. The driver of the van, Pedro Lorenzo Gutierrez-Lacon, 29, of Spring Valley, NY, died at the scene. Five passengers in the van were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries. Troopers are working to identify all the passengers.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit, Woodbury Police Department, and Woodbury Fire Department assisted at the scene.
