Obituary, Christopher Bryan Wood

Christopher Bryan Wood passed away June 29, 2022 at New Milford
Hospital in Connecticut. He was 66.
A resident of Pawling, NY, Chris was born in Great Barrington, MA on March 18, 1956 and
was the son of Norma Kaiser, the stepson of the late William Kaiser and
the son of the late John R Wood.
Chris graduated from Arlington High School in 1974, and Oswego State
University in 1978.
Chris had a long career in the restaurant industry. He loved New York
and spent several years managing The Times Square Brewery, as well as
working for The Mariott Corporation. He was the owner of the Plough
and the Stars restaurant in La Grange, NY and spent several years in
Costa Rica as the owner of the Nashville South Bar. His greatest joy was
being with his friends and family enjoying a good meal and having fun.
Chris is survived by his mother, Norma Kaiser of Pawling, and His sister,
Cindy Livengood and her husband Larry of Tallahassee, FL, his nieces
Meredith Livengood of New Orleans, LA , Monica Livengood, of Seattle
WA, his nephew Mark Livengood, and his wife Felicia of Columbia SC, as
well as his stebrother, Jeffery Kaiser and his wife Jennifer of
LaGrange, stepsisters Tracy Sofka of Pawling, NY, Tiina Nissinen Lubow
of Jacksonville, FL and his cousins Mark Faedi of California, Todd Faedi
of Vermont, and Brian Faedi of Canaan, CT.
A memorial service will be held on July 23rd at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 22 Coulter Avenue, Pawling, NY.
