Obituary, Michael K. Hoag

Michael K. Hoag, 60, a 30-year resident of Rhinebeck, NY, formerly of Wingdale, NY, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 3, 2022, at home. Michael was the caretaker at the Mountain View Farm in Rhinebeck for the past 30 years.

Born on February 1, 1962 in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Charles Hoag and Patricia McGrail Hoag who survives in Wingdale. He was a graduate of Dover High School Class of 1980.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Isabel Hoag of Rhinebeck, NY; a brother, Brian Hoag of Wingdale, NY and a sister, Sandra Arvisais of Millerton, NY. He is also survived by two nephews, Charles and Cooper Arvisais and a niece, Jill Arivsais.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Charles David Hoag.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Mill St., Dover Plains, NY.
